An Investigation Into Coping Strategies For Pain in TM
01 June 2017
As a person with Transverse Myelitis (TM), you will know that pain is one of the symptoms. Pain is a very subjective symptom and the way in which each person copes with pain may also be very individual. We are interested in finding out what sorts of strategies people use to cope with pain and other symptoms of TM. This will help us find out what strategies work best for those with TM.

am researching pain coping in Transverse Myelitis. I received a 2.1 honours degree in psychology from the University of Liverpool and am on course to receive a merit in my masters this year. I want to build on this current masters research at phd level and do further research in coping with TM and MS pain.
